MathWorks

The MathWorks, Inc. develops mathematical computing software for mathematicians, researchers, engineers and scientists. The products of the company include MATLAB, a language and interactive environment to explore and visualize ideas and collaborate across various disciplines and SIMULINK, a block diagram environment to support physical modeling, control systems.

MATLAB
- the Language of Technical Computing MATLAB® is a high-level language and interactive environment that enables you to perform computationally intensive tasks faster than with traditional programming languages such as C, C++, and FORTRAN, including parallel computing, control systems, signal processing and communications, image processing and computer vision, test and measurement, computational finance, computational biology, and application deployment.

Testimonials

“Cummins College has Matlab campus wide licenses, used by faculty and students for various lab courses.

Matlab has a very user friendly GUI making it easy to implement AI, ML, deep learning algorithms and evaluate them too. The user guide of Matlab is very useful in understanding the concepts and implementing them.
During the pandemic students were able to implement Matlab codes through the mobile apps by connecting to cloud based Matlab solution. The support from DesignTech and MathWorks team is really appreciated.
During the faculty Development program, the resource person from MathWorks conducted the sessions on emerging technologies which was very well received by the attendees.
Apart from the support from DesignTech and MathWorks, India team of Cummins College Alumni worked with MathWorks Inc., Boston to conduct online workshops on building smart fitness tracker using our own mobile devices, AR/AI workshop, etc.”

“Students and Faculty members of K.K.Wagh are using the Campus Wide license of MATLAB online and Offline regularly. Campus Wide Licenses helped our Students use MATLAB in a wide variety of courses for different departments. MathWorks has provided free online courses which are helping faculty and students to get insights of different toolboxes. Model based Design Toolbox is helping our students to simulate and generate the code for targeted hardware. The MathWorks and DesignTech teams are always supporting us by conducting various webinars.”

“At Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, our research scholars, students, and faculty members are using the Campus-Wide license of MATLAB from 2019. Our stakeholders started with primary functions and subsequently explored various MATLAB toolboxes through an online and offline (training) model. The Courses on MATLAB are introduced from the first year in theory and laboratory, and gradually students are taught to model, simulate and generate code for their requisite hardware systems.
The best outcome of using the MATLAB by our students is that they get Hands-on experience in learning any theoretical and mathematical concepts. For faculty, they Simulate any model and use the hardware interface for teaching and research. Research scholars use Matlab to Model, Simulate, and test research findings, for publishing, acquiring funding, and use it further for industrial consulting projects. The MathWorks and DesignTech team provided excellent support in framing the curriculum and syllabus for theory and practical laboratory courses, guided us for testing generated codes, and in publishing the manuals in MATLAB.”
